Encouraging Artwork

Pictures can be used to inspire and encourage pupils in many different ways.  If pupils see images of children participating in a range of different activities, it is highly likely that the pupils will seize the initiative and try to emulate the activities in real life.

With the added benefit of the cartoon children being in their respective school uniform, this gives the artwork more significance and relevance from a pupils point of view. The schools logo on the jumper further enhances the authenticity of the designs.

Not only is this form of Cartoon Wall Art encouraging for children, but it is also versatile as it is suitable for small and large areas.  Single characters are very effective doing individual activities and numerous characters have also been used to promote a range of beneficial activities.  These include Promoting Healthy Eating,  Active Play,  Reading,  Playing Instruments,  Forming Friendships,  Pupil Interaction between different Race, Gender and Disabled Pupil participation as well.

This theme has proved to be one of the most popular forms of Cartoon Wall Art in recent years especially in corridors,  dining halls,  entrance areas and on playground walls.

Besides cartoon children, some schools have used other pieces of artwork to encourage pupils to try different activities.  Cartoon animals playing musical instruments in music rooms are an example of this.

Guaranteed to put a smile on young and old faces, bright and colourful and very relevant for the rooms.

Another aspect of Cartoon Wall Art which not only encourages pupils but also boosts confidence and self esteem are pupils own designs.

Allowing the children to be creative and imaginative is a great start !

A number of schools have organised competitions by giving pupils a specific theme on which to base their designs.  The Doodle Bug has then been given the winning designs to recreate on a larger scale on interior and exterior surfaces.

The sense of pride and achievement a pupil gets from seeing their own design permanently on display is fantastic, equally matched by the delight of the pupil's parents.

Many people have commented over the years how they have been inspired by watching the process used by The Doodle Bug to create the Cartoon Wall Art.  Seeing the art develop from the original pencil sketches to the completed artwork encourages pupils to see what is possible with time and effort and the finished work is a testament and reminder long after it has been completed.

So anyone and everyone can be encouraged and inspired by Cartoon Wall Art in many different ways.
